A basic supply of toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar and a few logs for your first fire will be provided.

All kitchens are fully equipped and each cottage has its own Wi-Fi (fibre). Smart TV’s are provided in all bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens. The TV’s in the kitchens and bedrooms have integrated DVD players.

Off-street parking for two cars is provided per cottage.

Paved and fenced gardens extend to the front and back of the property, during the summer months outdoor furniture and BBQ’s are available.

Litton Property Group, the owners and managers of the cottages, have a reception on-site, open 9AM-5PM Monday to Friday.

The centre of Bakewell is a only a short walk away offering a variety of local businesses, specialist stores, a Co-op supermarket,  pubs, cafes and restaurants.

The majority of parking spaces in Bakewell are pay and display. You can however buy a Rover Pass (3 or 7 day parking pass) from the following link. Alternatively you can buy Rover Passes from the Bakewell Swimming Pool in town.

 

 

What you need to know

Dogs are allowed in cottages 1 and 2, however they must be kept under control at all times. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and on the sofas and they must not be left alone. We charge £15 per dog.

Due to the character and age of the cottage, the stairs are very steep so may be unsuitable for the elderly or toddlers.

FAQ's

Can I have my shopping delivered to the cottage?

Online deliveries are welcome but please make sure that they arrive after you check in.

An alternative to supermarket deliveries is Saucedhere.co.uk. Sauced Here has similar functionality to an online supermarket but is only stocked by 30 or more local suppliers in the Peak District.

What time can I check-in and out?

Check in from 3pm onward.

Check out is by 10am prompt.

What is the booking and payment process?

Please book via our agents Peak Venues (01629 888666, hello@peakvenues.co.uk). We ask for a 25% deposit to confirm your booking.

The balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival.

Full payment is due upon booking if booking is made less than 10 weeks prior to stay.

Are dogs allowed?

How to find us

From Bakewell – From the main roundabout in Bakewell, take the exit towards Ashford-in-the-Water. Cross the small bridge on your right to enter Riverside Business Park. You will find the cottages on the far right.

From Ashford-in-the-Water – drive towards Bakewell and cross the bridge on your left into Riverside Business Park just before getting into Bakewell.  You will find the cottages on the far right.

From Baslow or Hassop – As you approach Bakewell, you will see Newholme Hospital on your left. Take the first right after the hospital, Holme Lane. Drive all the way down Holme Lane to get into Riverside Business Park. You will see the cottages on your right after the big car park. The cottages’ allocated parking is in front of the houses.

Additional Services

The following services/ shops can be found on Riverside Business Park:

  • Wye Bakery
  • Fitism Gym (open 8AM-12PM on Saturdays and 8AM-11AM on Sundays).
  • Thornbridge Brewery, which offers guided tours and a bar & shop.
  • Fishing – if you wish to take a fishing lesson or hire a rod within Riverside Business Park, please contact Litton Property Group on 01629 810 820. A fishing daily pass can be purchased at reception (right next to the cottages) within working hours (£40).

Travel cots and high chairs are available in each cottage.

All double bedrooms can be turned into twin rooms, please let us know in advance if you wish the swap to twin rooms.

Don’t fancy cooking?

Contact Scoff or Riverside Kitchen for a home cooked meal to be delivered to your door (please book one week in advance), or Saucedhere to arrange for a chef to come to your cottage – they even wash up!
